OK, this is always a mistake because when you try to thank everyone who contributed you will inevitably leave someone out. I apologize in advance for doing so but I have to make an attempt to say thank you to those who helped in this endeavor. Actually we need to say thank you to everyone who attended, it was the turn out of friends and family that made the memories that we'll all cherish forever. So here goes, in no particular order with the exception of the first one on the list.
This
is Joyce Ganey, my wife and mother of the bride. Easy to see where Angela got
her good looks! Joyce spent countless hours working on the arrangements for
this wedding and fretted over every detail.
This
is BJ and Kenny Ellis, Bob's parents, Angela's grandparents. BJ and Kenny graciously
bought Angela's beautiful wedding dress.
This is Bonnie Ganey, Pete's
mother, Joyce's mother in law, Angela's grandmother. Bonnie patiently worked
with Angela to design just "the right" flower arrangements for the
rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception.
This
is Lisa and John Bilotta. Dennis' mother and dad. Lisa and John live several
hours away in Virginia Beach but with the help of Eva Johnson (our local helper/grandmother)
provided the the wonderful rehearsal dinner we all enjoyed.
This
is Rick and Jackie Reeder, Dennis' dad and mom. Rick and Jackie gave the bride
and groom the unforgettable trip to Jamaica for their honey moon.
This
is Bob Ellis, Angela's dad. Bob provided the wedding photographer...no not me,
the real wedding photographer!
This
is Eva Johnson, Joyce's mother, Angela's grandmother. Ms Johnson ran errands,
located the rehearsal dinner facilities, helped with food, ordered flowers,
the wedding cake and too many other odds and ends to remember. Basically, with
Joyce located 300 miles away, she had her mother doing the local leg work.
This
is Cathy Ellis, Bob's Sister, Angela's aunt. Cathy (Cass) directed the wedding
rehearsal and wedding and provided the get away car for the bride and groom.
This
is JC and Barbara Johnson. Joyce's brother and sister in law, Angela's Uncle
and Aunt. The two of them helped decorate the wedding and Barbara directed the
assembly of the reception facilities and decorations.
This
is Shirl Ganey, Pete's sister in law. Shirl was Joyce's sounding board as she
fretted over the details. Then she made the trip to Bristol to help decorate
and pull the wedding and Joyce together.
This
is Jane Taylor. Jane couldn't have been better to work with, especially considering
that everyone that she was dealing with was at least 300 miles away.
This
is Steve Diblasi. Steve is a friend of the family and an excellent musician
who provided music for the wedding and rehearsal dinner.
We
all know who these two characters are. Obviously without them we would not have
had a wedding. They also provided the DJ for the reception.
