So, your yellow light is on, the keypad is beeping, you've pressed *2
and the keypad is displaying a 1, you pressed 1 and it displays a 7 or it
reads out Low Aux Battey.
The presence of an auxiliary power supply means that you have a larger than average system which requires one or more additional power supplies to power all of your components. Although the auxiliary power supply may be located next to the main panel, it often is located in a remote location to reduce the length of the wire runs needed to supply power to your components. It is usually located in an out of the way mounting positon and will be in a putty colored box similar to the main panel. The backup battery is located in this box.
The replacement instructions are the same as they are for replacing the main panel battery.
